Bugs and Slugs in Plitvicka Jezero

We didn't see a lot of wildlife in the park - mostly fish plus a few frogs, a couple of small snakes, a giant slug, beautiful blue dragon flies, a few ducks and a large gold Beatle.

We heard more than we saw - lots of birds including a very vocal coo-coo.
At one point we were rounding a corner to a cacophony of bullfrogs. They continued for a minute as we came into their view then they all stopped at once - dead silence as if one of them had sounded a warning to the others.
